About the School

Gyansthali Public School was established in the year 2015 near Sardaha Bazar, Azamgarh by Mr. Kirti Azad Singh S/o Mr. Harinath Singh.

To build the future of the nation and prepare worthy and responsible citizens, best education is today’s need. In metropolitan cities the condition is quite better but in rural areas, much awareness towards education is needed. So to fulfill the requirement, establishment of standard educational institutes are needed in rural areas. Hence to meet the necessity, the founder of GPS established a standard and well-equipped CBSE co-educational English Medium school in rural area of Azamgarh.

The aim of the GPS is to develop the self-respect, national spirit, emotional integrity, morality, responsibility, team spirit, awareness towards Indian culture and its glorious history. Kindness, love for youngers and honour for elders, truthfulness and several such virtues in the children because a balanced child would be a worthy citizen of the nation.

The school is located in peaceful and green environment away from stormy commotion of the town's life.

GPS provides the transport to the students of various nearby rural areas. We organize parents-teachers association meeting periodically after every assessment to redress their grievances. In case of emergency illness or injury the first aid is provided to the students. Each and every student of the school is given a school diary in which all the rules and regulations, student's personal bio data, prayers, pledge, leave record, homework remark, teacher’s remark, parents remark, time table and daily homework record is maintained.

To draw out hidden talent among the students many co-curricular activities are planned throughout the year. Science, Art & Craft exhibitions, Bal Mela, Annual Function etc. are also organized in our school. A good arrangement of water and electricity is done at each floor of the school. We have well-ventilated class rooms in our school. To foster a sense of collective responsibility and team spirit, we have introduced the House system. All the students from class 1st onwards are divided into four houses: Agni House, Vayu House, Prithvi House and Akash House. Each house is headed by the house in-charge, captain and vice captain.
